05/February/2021: Rajiv’s manuscript got accepted and has gone online in FEBS Letters.  Congratulations!  https://febs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/1873-3468.14055 This is our collaborative work with Dr. Narottam Acharya’s group in ILS.

01/March/2021: DVasuLab welcomes Ms. Lopamudra Nayak and Mr. Manoj Kumar Barik! Lopamudra and Manoj have joined us for six-months training under the Skill Development Technician Training Program of the institute. We wish them a great training experience with us.

13/April/2021: Rajiv’s pre-synopsis seminar! As he is gearing to submit his PhD thesis to MAHE, Manipal, Rajiv gave his open pre-synopsis seminar (online) at ILS. His DAC members also attended the same. Thus the next student will soon graduate from DVasuLab.

27/May/2021: Rajiv submits his PhD thesis! Rajiv submitted his PhD thesis to MAHE, Manipal.

24/June/2021: Rajiv’s paper accepted in JBC! Our manuscript in collaboration with Dr. Narottam Acharya’s group in ILS has gotten accepted for publication in JBC. Rajiv is a co-first author and Dileep a co-corresponding author on the paper. PCNA stories never end! 28/June/2021: Manas’ pre-submission seminar! Manas had his DRC meeting for Utkal University, where he presented his PhD work, as a requirement before thesis submission. His thesis is ready to be submitted! Congratulations Manas!!

06/July/2021: Group photo 2021! Finally, we get to take a group photo! But Chinmayee, Nausad and Subhanjan missed it!

12/July/2021: Puri Jagannath’s Rath Yatra! Sitting in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Jagannath’s land, here is our wish for this special day.

23/July/2021: Subhanjan’s MSc viva! Today our dissertation student Subhanjan Satapathy had his final viva at SOA University. So officially, he has completed his MSc. Congratulations Subhanjan!

26/August/2021: Hurray! Rajiv defends his thesis! It was indeed a special day for our group. Mr. Rajivgandhi Sundaram turned Dr. Rajivgandhi Sundaram. Rajiv had Dr. Insaf Qureshi from the University of Hyderabad as his external examiner and his other thesis examiner was Dr. P. Sivaraman from NIMHANS. We had a little celebration after his online viva. –

04/November/2021: Diwali Greetings!

25/November/2021 to 27/November/2021: The 48th National Seminar on Crystallography (NSC-48) at IIT Roorkee! Ketul, Ruchir, Nausad and Dileep attended NSC-48 in Roorkee.

10/December/2021: Chinmayee gets selected for DST’s Women Scientists Scheme-A (WOS-A). Such a pleasant news! Congratulations to Chinmayee! This will allow her to have a longer stay with us.
